1) Subs want/need rules.
So, for a 24/7 M/s relationship to work, there needs to be some set rules. Some simple, easy tenets for your sub to follow. The whole point of a M/s relationship is a exchange of power and the rules, no matter how seemingly unimportant, sets the tone and mood. Simple things work best for this like, “You are not allowed x color nail polish,” or “Master’s coffee is to be prepared with two sugars and one cream.” These rules should be written in a safe place and probably done in pencil.
2) Subs want/need discipline.
There needs to be “consiquesnces” for breaking the afformentioned rules. It should be something that should signify that they are being punished. A spanking works fine because for couples that are also Sad/Mas but of couples that are not pain players, find something else.
3) Subs want/need rewards.
In the same way that a good D/s relationship needs discipline, the inverse is equally true. A good pet needs to be rewarded for being a good pet. Let it be something that both enjoy, and maybe even something simple that just makes them feel special. I know just looking over at lore and saying, “Good girl” is pretty much the best reward I can give her.
